John Pettigrew

Retired Fruit Farmer, Former Director of SPC Ardmona Victoria

John Pettigrew is a retired Goulburn Valley fruit grower from Bunbartha, just north of Shepparton  in Victoria. He was a director of major Australian fruit processing company SPC Ardmona for 13 years.

John has experience in resource management with past Board positions at Goulburn Murray Water and the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority. He was founding Chair of the Environmental Farmers Network and is the organisation’s spokesperson on Water and Climate Change issues.

John has presented widely on the topic of climate change with Al Gore’s Climate Reality project over the past decade, and is a member of numerous local, state and national environment groups. John is a member of Farmers for Climate Action.
